Supporting Portuguese Production “Jones”
Some journeys are made for passengers. Others are made for the camera.
Recently, CARATTE had the pleasure of supporting the production of “Jones”, a new RTP series produced with Caracol Studios, contributing with logistical assistance as well as a vehicle and chauffeur used during one of the scenes.
It was a small part of a much larger production, but one we were particularly proud to be involved in.
Supporting what is created in Portugal
Portugal has an increasingly dynamic audiovisual industry, bringing together talented production teams, actors, technicians, creative professionals and locations with extraordinary potential.
For us, supporting national production means contributing, even in a small way, to the work being created here.
Behind every scene there is much more than what eventually appears on screen. There are schedules to coordinate, people and equipment to move, vehicles to position and countless logistical details that need to happen at exactly the right moment.

Our daily work is built around coordination, timing, discretion and the ability to adapt quickly when plans change. Those same qualities are particularly valuable when supporting a television, film or commercial production.
More than providing a vehicle, for the production of “Jones”, our involvement included logistical support and the provision of a vehicle with a professional chauffeur for a scene.
In this type of work, the vehicle is only part of the requirement.
Production teams need reliability, flexibility and someone who understands that filming does not always follow a conventional schedule. A scene may require several takes. Timings can change. A vehicle may need to be repositioned or remain available while the crew prepares the next sequence.
The objective is simple: become part of the operation without becoming an additional concern for the production team.
Transportation and logistical support for productions in Portugal
Alongside our private chauffeur, corporate and event services, CARATTE can also support film, television, advertising and content productions in Portugal.
Depending on the requirements of each project, this can include executive vehicles, Mercedes V Class vehicles, drivers for cast and production teams, airport transportation, movement between hotels and filming locations, dedicated vehicles throughout the day and logistical support involving several vehicles.
Every production is different, which is why these services require a flexible approach rather than a standard transportation solution.
Proud to be part of it
For CARATTE, being involved in “Jones” was about more than seeing one of our vehicles on set.
It was the opportunity to contribute to a Portuguese production and to work alongside professionals creating something that will eventually reach audiences across the country.
We are proud of the role we played, however discreet it may have been.
After all, some of the most important work happens behind the scenes.
